9 days, 4 national parks, 3 galleries and 1 wonder of the world – during this trip we will see the Black continent from the perspective of the first colonisers, and discover how the continent exists today. From cave painting to modern art, from river fishing to gastronomic masterpieces – Africa can offer a multitude of experiences to those ready for new geographical discoveries. Just like true seekers of gold, we will descend upon Johannesburg and Cape Town, to appreciate the best restaurants and galleries on the continent. We will investigate the Victoria Falls from a helicopter, take a journey through the safari, and look back on the story of Vasco da Gama as we stand on the edge of the Cape of Good Hope.
– why Johannesburg was considered to be the most dangerous city in South Africa;
– how the Lunar rainbow grows over the Victoria Falls;
– which African artists are selling their work at The Armory Show;
– how the Republic of South Africa became the country with 11 official languages and what ‘The Flying Dutchman’ has to do with it.
